Microlearning
My design and development process for microlearning follows an AGILE methodology. Due to the brief nature of microlearning, an AGILE approach enables me to test my hypotheses with learners more quickly and iterate until a workable product is developed.
Odoo Inventory Software
PROBLEM:
At Company X, inadequate training of the warehouse inventory system, Odoo Inventory, is the root cause of poor job performance as well as increased stress. As a result of this issue, both the warehouse employees' productivity and the business's revenue have decreased. Following a failed eLearning solution, Company X completed an on-the-job training program to retrain their workforce. Although the warehouse staff has received new training, Company X would like to add a reference tool in the form of a quick video that highlights the essential elements of effective Odoo Inventory software usage.
SOLUTION:
The target audience for this training is warehouse workers, supervisors, warehouse managers, and HR personnel.
A training video is needed to emphasize the following:
- Identify the key components of the Odoo Inventory dashboard.
- Create and print shipping labels.
- Access warehouse reporting systems for the end of day inventory closeout task.
HIGHLIGHTS:
Odoo Inventory Software is a microlearning solution to be developed in Camtasia software. In this explainer video, the learner will learn how tone can affect an email's overall perception and cause unnecessary tension.

The Tone of a Professional E-Mail
PROBLEM:
Company X is going through a change in corporate culture as a result of poorly written emails from managers, team leads, and supervisors. Because of their leaders' poor email tone, employees are starting to feel disengaged, paranoid, and untrusting of them. Staff turnover, as a result, is rising at alarming rates.
SOLUTION:
The target audience for this training is managers, team leads, and supervisors and all other staff who have company-wide email access.
A training video is needed to emphasize the following:
- Define tone and how it applies to an email.
- Identify the importance of email tone.
- Identify key strategies to composing emails that convey the proper tone.

In this story-driven project, the learner will make the journey with a fictitious employee as she defines tone, learns the importance of tone in an email, and identifies key strategies to composing emails that convey the proper tone.
